The three-minute morning routine
Reading time: 4 minutes
A good morning routine does two jobs: it protects skin from the day ahead and it gives you a clean base for makeup, if you wear it. Four products are enough, and the whole thing takes about three minutes.

The routine
| Step | Product | Amount | Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Cleanse | Cloud Gel Cleanser | One pump | 30 seconds |
| 2. Brighten | Vitamin C 15 Serum | One to two pumps | 15 seconds |
| 3. Moisturize | Daily Gel Cream | Pea-sized | 30 seconds |
| 4. Protect | Daily Sheer Fluid SPF 50 | Two finger lengths | 30 seconds, then wait a minute |
Step by step
- Cleanse. One pump of Cloud Gel Cleanser on damp skin, then rinse. If your skin is dry, rinsing with water alone is fine.
- Brighten. One to two pumps of Vitamin C 15 Serum. Press it in and move on.
- Moisturize. A pea-sized amount of Daily Gel Cream.
- Protect. Two finger lengths of Daily Sheer Fluid SPF 50 over face and neck. Let it set for a minute before makeup.
Why this order
Products go on from thinnest to thickest, and sunscreen always goes last so nothing dilutes it. Vitamin C goes first after cleansing because it works best on clean skin and pairs well with sunscreen through the day.
Short on time? Never skip the last step. Cleanser and SPF alone still protect your skin.
Where to adjust
| If your skin is | Change |
|---|---|
| Oily | Swap vitamin C for Niacinamide 10 Serum on some mornings |
| Dry | Add Rice Water Essence after cleansing |
| Puffy around the eyes | Add Caffeine Eye Gel before moisturizer |

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to cleanse in the morning?
If your skin is dry, rinsing with water is enough. If it is oily or you used a rich cream overnight, a gentle cleanser helps.
How long should I wait between steps?
Only until each layer no longer feels wet, about 30 seconds. Give sunscreen a full minute before makeup.
Can I use vitamin C and niacinamide on the same morning?
Yes. They work well together in modern formulas. Apply the thinner one first.
